Pues ha finalizado y no se ha vendido.
Y esta es la letanía...
This is the sale of the entire Jupiter ACE project – the iconic brand itself, and a treasure trove of absolutely unique and original historic items from the legendary 1980’s microcomputer era.
Created by vexed Spectrum designers Steve Vickers & Richard Altwasser (“Clive Sinclair was making all this money out of us, why shouldnt we just make our own computer and make the money for ourselves” - Vickers) the Jupiter ACE home computer was the most intriguing product of the era, running programs ten times faster than the usual BASIC and using less memory to do so.
But unfortunately for its inspired makers, the Jupiter ACE wasn’t chosen by the fledgling games market, which led to the financial collapse of the new company and its subsequent rescue by another Cambridge startup, Boldfield Computing – who re-targeted the micro at enthusiasts with a new range of software and accessories, and then went on to support the ACE into old age.
With the key players themselves now heading into retirement, the opportunity to own this famous marque is up for grabs.
This is a remarkable investment opportunity at several levels, because not only does the buyer get a valuable collection of original unsold Jupiter ACE stock, but also ALL the irreplaceable master tapes and unpublished works, a catalogue of priceless historic documentation, AND ownership of this famous brand.

Ebay Notes:
The eBay member ID jupiter-ace-project has been specifically created just to handle this one special auction.
eBay has verified the seller status and authorised an appropriate financial limit not normally granted to new (zero feedback) accounts.
To achieve international coverage, the auction has been listed on ebay.com rather than ebay.co.uk, but buyers should note that the sale is nonetheless being made in the United Kingdom with an expectation that the buyer will be able to attend a handover and collection in the Cambridge UK area at a date to be agreed.
Whilst priced in US Dollars , the sale will be made in GB Pounds. Cleared funds will be required, so bank transfer is a suggested payment method.
