In 1988 British powerhouse Ocean released a unique looking isometric 3D adventure for both the ZX Spectrum and Atari ST known as Where Time Stood Still. While many Amiga gamers were patiently awaiting their version of the game, it sadly never reached the Commodore platform - at least until now. Twenty six years later, Commodore Amiga aficionados have somehow ported the Atari ST title back to where it never came.
Where Time Stood Still was a very impressive release at the time, especially by ZX Spectrum standards. The game not only featured some impressive isometric visuals, but also some detailed gameplay mechanics such as non-player characters who followed your every move and relied upon you to keep them safe.
The Atari ST version of the game was somewhat very similar to the ZX Spectrum title, even surprisingly so where the visuals were concerned. Nevertheless Where Time Stood Still was definitely an enjoyable title and one worth checking out even today.
