Re: Emulando ZX Spectrum en Atari ST

I have been interested in emulating Z80 in microcontrollers which have relatively slow clock speeds. There is an interesting discussion (its long) about a way of emulating the Z80 by clever bypassing of some of the time consuming aspects of the decoding process. ZiCog manages almost full speed for (...

Such is the nature of the net, people move sites and the links go dead.

Re: Odyssey Computing HRG - you saw it here first

If you load up the demo file, break out of the program and type GOTO 6000 The screen will restore to normal Then type GOTO 7000 to get to the HRG menu system Get into the SPrite EDitor and Choose EDIT SPRITE Choose Sprite number 1 And after a couple of minutes (!) you will see a sprite that I create...

Re: CESIL Interpreter with Interesting Code Technique

I cannot work out how to break into this program

change line 1125 to LET V = 0

and then save it.

I have tried this in VB81 and it doesnt seem to save a file anywhere

I tried it in EightyOne but I cannot break into the program.

Any ideas?

Re: WINTAPE an Olde ZX Tape Reader

I use SoundForge to create RAW.

I should say that I have had some success with the Wintape program but I am sure there are a lot of bugs. I only place the file here to give some ideas for a Tape Reader GUI specifically used for retrieving tapes with lots of drop-outs.

I can half remember the development sequence for my HiRes PacMan: Load in My own relocator and Merger Which relocates ZXAS (which I wrote a r...

Re: ZX81 JetPac

I have been talking with my elder brother. He is touched, and has thanked me for bringing these to you. He has pointed me towards some more tapes of his later work on the Spectrum so I will go searching in the pile of stuff we have here. He also reminded me of several programs that we wrote together...
